Personal
We are open for business and this is where I sit!
For one of my first blogs on the website I wanted to share something special with you all.
My parents came to visit over a month ago and up until then I had been using a makeshift desk, made out out of two IKEA cube shelves and an off-cut of melamine board from the garage. I decided to ask my dad if he could help make a bigger desk top. I suggested a cheap one like I had but wider.
The next morning dad drives to the local hardware store, buys a beautiful piece of wood because it just happens to be the right size and some extra items and comes home. Within an hour and a half, my incredibly talented father had made this stunning desk top. The hardest part was waiting two days for the stain and varnish to dry before I could use it. I am so in love with his handiwork. The desk space is big and functional, has a cut out so you don’t trip over the chair when you walk past the desk and did I mention it was stunning?

My gorgeous handmade desk top, made by talented Dad. Lettuce Write Head Quarters.
I was also able to find some storage cubes in our signature lettuce green to store all of the sticker and stationery goodies in. It looks so neat with the golden oak stain on the desk top.
I tell you all this story so that when I speak of the Lettuce Write headquarters in future posts you will be able to imagine this picture of the epicentre of our business. This is where it all happens! Thank you Mum and Dad for our wonderful gift to start our business. We are so blessed.
Love and Lettuce,
